I have NO idea how Lorine landed that Lutz, she has the scariest French axis of all French skaters (and that's saying a lot considering Adam Siao Him Fa exists). She had a rough start to the season so I'm happy to see her getting back to her usual consistent self at this event. Her presentation has really improved this season.

Yeah. Good for Lorine. Just not a fabulous skater. She's slow, not good line... jumps are weird. I am maybe a bit too grumpy. I guess the clean skate makes it more obvious where else she lacks in her skating.

I do hope, though, that this is the last time we see that costume... Navy would have worked, a lighter colour would have worked, but the bright blue just isn't flattering.

She moved her head into its final position after the end of the music. If she'd kept the finishing body position and not turned her head into its final position, she would have been fine, and it would have looked okay still.

As Niji said, her axis is the most off even among the French skaters, it rivals the last 4Lz I saw from Mark Kondratiuk back in 2022

Nothing struck me that would be worth nitpicking there but I wasn't really focused on that, also because I really loved how Haein Lee was performing today. Very beautiful.

It's a good job that Lorine SCHILD (FRA) is the last to skate before the resurfacing. Did you see the marks her toe picks left on the ice when she slid along the ice on her knees towards the judges?!

"Stairway To Heaven" is one of my favourite songs of all time. And, of course, I would have preferred to have Robert Plant singing. But, Beth Hart's version is so true to the Led Zeppelin original that I will let Lorine and her team off for using a cover.

Lorine was wearing a beautiful royal blue dress. (Well, it was more like a blue bra and blue skirt, with blue illusion mesh in between).

That was beautiful.

She goes into 5th position.
