WHAT A SKATE FROM SARAH!!!!! This has been a rough season for her and she was second alternate for this event (although Sarah was informed of Bradie's WD a while ago, so she has had a lot of time to prepare) but she still laid down her best SP maybe ever in her debut Worlds! She was really performing after those jumps were done, and everything was executed with great quality as well. She still has a little bit of work to do on her performance, but skates like this are only going to build her confidence in letting loose in the steps.

Ontario's big cities are extremely multicultural. If I am not mistaken, Madeline's father is a mix of Greek and French Canadian and her mother is and Indian Canadian. Apparently, there are a few wild lions in India so maybe she's just channeling her mom's heritage.
 
Tonia just name checked Alysa Liu. Do a take a shot or give myself a piercing? Maybe both but in the opposite order? I don't know the rules of this game today. . . .

Clean skate from Sarah--she has lots of room to improve but her jumps don't make me terrified so that's something.
 
It occurs to me that out of all the bazillions of skaters who chose Riverdance this season, Sarah is the only one here to use it, the last one standing.
And she was more enjoyable than usual today, too! Her overall approach still reminds me of the younger Bradie Tennell, but who knows, she may manage to smooth out the awkwardness in future, as Bradie has done

Anyway, Sarah EVERHARDT (USA) was doing a "Riverdance" programme. And it was great.

She goes into the lead.

I see what she did here with the costume... Czardas is from Hungary (traditionally). So the flag's colours... I still don't like it.

My tesoro Younghyun's short is to Riverdance also, he didn't do much international competition this season so it's no wonder that you don't know, but his Riverdance is a gem and I say this with confidence, although his shirt is the wrong color
