Didn’t Adelia skate to that last year? If there was an issue over that music wouldn’t Aliona have left in summer 2019?

And I think Rozanov choreographed both of Adelia’s programs last year, so idk if Aliona would have followed the coach that gave away her favorite music.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to say that that was THE incident, more just that maybe there was a pattern of it happening. The Piaf program was from last year.
 
On the topic of Aliona and Edith Piaf, what songs would you pick? I really enjoy Non, je ne regrette rien, it's such a delight, but I also think that Hymne à l'amour could be a really beautiful song for Aliona - it's passionate and powerful, and I think she could carry it off very well.

I think she would do really well with those! I also think that she could do Carmen’s Story but kind of do what Hanna Harrell did and combine it with another piece of fiery music. Aliona has gorgeous lines and amazing fluidity, but I also think a sassy short program would be so nice! And then for the free she could have a more lyrical type program with a nice build 😍

I would be so excited if Aliona skates to Edith Piaf because it would be another one of my favorite skaters’ skating to her music!

Given the hype surrounding Aliona prior to Rostelecom we may have to wait and see for that one... tho if anyone does have info, please DO share..

There was a problem with the SP song, and she was told that the song she suggested was not good, but a few days later at the rink, she was upset that another kid was skating to that song, which the coach had given to them, so Aliona decided to move to a better environment before the season.

Concerning the lack of 3A at Rostelecom Cup she said:
"I'm getting back to my original level after refraining from practice due to Covid. I'm not going to make excuses, I'm practicing hard now. I'm waiting for the day when I'll be back to my powerful 3A."

I don't know how many reasons there were but I felt it was more than just ankle biters getting in her way on the ice. But what happened happened.

It's just unbelievable to see someone like Aliona who had an incredible debut season changed coaches.. Now she has to try to get her form back and salvage this season and somehow make the world's team.

Changing coaches is in the past. it's nice to see her skating again. Hopefully she's feeling well after covid. I also hope Aliona and the skaters get vaccinated if it's what they and their parents want for them.

Alexander Lakernik visited my training session.They took apart my new free program.It was important for me to get advice from a professional like him,and it was also very important for me that my choreographer ,my coaches, and of course me liked her) I hope you enjoy it too.

Aliona replied in the comments that she is still skating to Shae-Lynn's Free program. My guess is they worked a lot on the choreo, maybe replaced or added some things and therefore call it "new program" :) I am excited to see the changes
 
Something in that program needed a rework.
She was loosing levels in spins and steps and that is not acceptable for a skater her level.
Something could be due to her not perfect form like a slow entry in a spin late in the program but it should be addressed and corrected.

When should we expect her to compete next?

It looks like she's still growing day by day.
Surely she's blooming.
Just a year passed since I saw her and she changed and grow up so much, both phisically and in her personality.
I'm so proud 🥰
