It annoys me how that heaping pile of … gets to lie, Alina gets a ton of bad media coverage and then he simply changes his statement.
At first he claimed “I was just filming the audience, Alina just happened to be in the shot and she got pissed”
Later we learn that he wasn’t “just filming the audience”, in fact he followed her into the hallway, then into the bathroom and a parking lot and kept filming her. Not only does he himself admit that, others from the event said the same thing. Of course she’d be upset and want him to get off her. Would anyone else just be okay with stalking? But then he goes out and lies about it and only admits the truth when the damage is already done.
I read this comment on Sports.ru (which is an actual nightmare today from the perspective of an Alina fan). It's an alleged eyewitness account of the incident. The 'journalist' Rustam Imamov has been writing hate filled articles about Alina for almost 4 years now. I wonder if he is pleased with the outcome of all of this? His 'apology' to Alina, her family and her fans, didn't really help anything.
Alina has managed to keep her private life private for more than a year now. Her fans and fan-groups have respected and supported this. Seeing the way certain factions of the media have tried to destroy everything that Alina touches, it's understandable. It's fair to critique her skating but they have attacked her for her test scores, her admission to university, her body, (is she thin enough yet?!?!) her speech....the list goes on and it never stops.

“This hoopoe after the match followed her and filmed her leaving the arena. To be honest, Alina left the service room, through the exit for the club's employees / players, went to the parking lot, waiting for her martyr. And our Rusya imagines himself a paparazzi and decided to catch them. And when Alina saw that he was filming her at the car of her martyr, she approached him to insert *****.
This situation was witnessed by the press of Ak Bars, even Magnitka. Yesterday a guy from the press Ak B came to Rusik's comments and wrote that Rusya was openly lying. That he himself was a witness of the whole incident and saw what Russia was trying to shoot and for what. And that there were other people who saw him chasing after Alina when she went to the exit and he started filming just when she was leaving. In addition to him, another person wrote there that he also witnessed the filming, but not in the parking lot and he did not see the conflict. When he left, he saw how Rusya, starting from the turnstiles, followed Alina and filmed her.
It was after such comments that Rusik removed his opus in the cart. "
Now compare with the original news from RI. But the local contingent of norms when an adult man pursues a 19-year-old with incomprehensible goals. ==
Alina will have to hold back even more because the smear campaign is revving up - apart from the

heads from sports.ru that - of all people - blame Alina in their hit piece, Kogan, Besti and uber-Alina-hater Utkin have joined in; and as usual they'll go through the whole list of 'experts' to milk all the hype they can get.
After reading Kogan's opinion that it's 'normal for athletes to get hate' so no one need 'comment', at least we know RusFed isn't getting any more of her money. Not that they ever 'protected' her when they did pocket their percentage, but at least they seemed content to remain silent.
Seems like they are determined to 'dethrone' her in anticipation of the next reign of the new Russian Olympic Champion. Not totally surprising seeing as how they never wanted her on that 'throne' in the first place. I guess we'll see how that works out for them. Time will tell.
Besti saying we should 'forgive' Alina would have made me laugh if the rest of it weren't so infuriating.
I think you said once that Layshev was a dangerous enemy for anyone to have. I wonder if there is any connection? I can't imagine being a teenager and having the director of my school diminishing me and my accomplishments every time he opens his mouth.
This kind of reminds me of the time she posted the video of herself driving the car at 16 with her dad. The police in her home town were notified and people on social media on both sides of the argument literally argued themselves into complete exhaustion.
For people discussing Alina's alleged 'connections' - who are they? Not RusFed, not the media, not Sambo70, not anyone listed among the Figure Skating Elite of Russia other than Navka or Yagudin and maybe Averbukh. Her 'connections' have done nothing to protect her in the media from what I can see. Or even speak up to defend her. (Edit: Yagudin and Averbukh did defend her during her first season of Ice Age.)
What other skaters have had their low exam scores made public? Or been criticized for paying to attend a university? She didn't get the tuition fee waived or receive a scholarship but I guess it was still a problem that she would take up space.
Now it looks like she is not allowed to protect her private life. The one thing she has managed to keep to herself for over a year. But Imamov decides to take the opportunity to ruin the one thing he hasn't gotten around to poisoning yet. I hope it was worth it to him.
