Anastasia Mishina & Aleksandr Galliamov

I´m so happy for them. :hap10:When Nastya fell in the warm-up I was scared, but their sbs jumps in the SP were great.

I´m a bit worried because of Sashas hand. He tapes it since NHK and I´ve read on twitter that Minchuk said it is an old injury and he tapes it to avoid severe pain. I really hope he can take a good rest after this season and recover and that he is not pushing himself too far.

Aljona Savchenko :love:said yesterday on German TV that it makes her sad that Tamara chose so old-fashioned programs for M/G. And that they have so much more potential.
She thought that their technical elements were by far the best.

I applaud them for holding their nerves on another hard competition. Nastia really had to work for that combo, but she landed a very beautiful one in the warmup. It wasn’t their best skate, so I hope they’re keeping that one in store for the Olympics. But you can’t deny they give you all the confidence to watch them.

Aljona Savchenko commented the FS on German TV. And she was gushing over Sasha. She said he reminds her of Christopher Dean. The commentator Daniel Weiss asked her: "If you were 10 years younger that would be a partner you love to have?" And she said yes.

Sasha is a fantastic skater. He and Aljona would definitely be a pair to beat—although the age difference weirds me out a bit.

He and Nastia are the pair for me, though. I really like how they interact and seem to really like skating with each other. And their styles match, their abilities too. Sometimes people say Sasha is too good for Nastia, but I don’t think that’s totally true, and at times we don’t praise her enough. Yes, they falter at times, but both work hard to bring the results. And they have been doing just that.

I think they have a lot of years left in them, maybe a couple of cycles left if they want.
