Back in the 2018–2022 quad, the solo triple Axel was practically a signature move for legends like Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu and Shoma Uno. Fast forward to the current season, and the landscape has shifted. A new wave of senior men is making their mark, delivering triple Axels that range from technically impeccable to artistically breathtaking.

Who do you believe owns the best solo 3A internationally this season in the senior division? What makes it the best in your eyes? Is it the height? The flow? The entry? The fluid or explosiveness of the element?

The list below shows some men who have scored at least 11 points total for the element this season in ISU CS, GP and Championship events. Maybe there's a skater we haven’t listed who deserves the spotlight?

Kevin Aymoz
Yuma Kagiyama
Mihhail Selevko
Daniel Grassl
Shun Sato
Matteo Rizzo
Ilia Malinin
Adam Siao Him Fa

Share your take below—let’s dive into the nuances that make this jump more than just three and a half rotations!

Kevin Aymoz

Entry, height, straight axis in air, effortless running edge out.

Nice! Can anyone share what stands out for them on the triple Axel for the other men?

Yes I'm biased, but I think when Jason Brown hits his 3Axel it's a thing of beauty - especially with the smooth run out.
I watched an interesting angle of his triple axles from a fan cam at the world's. There was a pretty notable hook on the landing of both of them, definitely on the quarter. I was pretty surprised at how much clearer it was from an overhead view...

I have to say that Kevin Aymoz's axles were pretty fantastic this year. Difficult entries, air position, height, and flow on the landing and exit.

Shaidorov's solo Axel is great! It's a pity that you did not include it in the poll.

Indeed! I couldn't list all of them, so hence the discussion and the "Other" box :)

The ones that I put in the poll were listed as having the highest GOE/Base Values for the element this season. There are also other like Lukas Britschgi, Deniss Vasiljevs, Kazuki Tomono etc.
