nope.... conrad is still growing... and stephen is still being the nick carter of the group ;) to refer to mango this photo was more like backstreet boys LOL

That's probably why when I read at one of Medvedeva thread "Note that Conrad is likely going to be paired..." my first thought was "Wait... What? Is he switching to pairs?!" - and then I saw the rest of the sentence "...with Lee Barkell (Primary coach of Gabby, secondary coach of Stephen G) and maybe someone else as a secondary"... :dumb:

Haha! Yes, I was just trying to communicate that people in the same discipline seem to be scheduled together at the CC for their lessons with Brian, for example Shingo said he shares sessions with Junhwan in the interview earlier this winter. Obviously there are also lessons and events there involving more than two skaters working with whomever is leading. I just wanted to assert that if Evghenia does come to the CC, she'd more likely share Brian's session with Gabby or Elizabet than a senior or junior man.

Simply because Conrad is tall already, I personally wouldn't be gobsmacked if I learned people had tried to get Conrad into pairs or ice dance, or if he ever considered it himself, but I'm not saying that's what I think he should do. I'm quite happy to see him skate as an individual competitor at the CC!
 
Conrad is very slender... he would need to bulk up a lot to be a pair skaters... and what would he do with all his quads????

He is so handsome and popular among girls that I bet each of these talented tiny teens would be happy to switch from ladies to pairs and do quads together :laugh:
I wouldn't be happy if Conrad would switch to pairs/dance too, just shared my silly misunderstanding :noshake:.
 
Haha. Sure. But dance doesnt seem possible. He is too rough. I d like him to do dance just to improve on hisbskating skills.
 
Don't worry guys Skate Ontario is trying to recruit young skaters to try pairs. Conrad and his lean body won't need to go through that.

Hey the Backstreet Boys are still around and popular for nostalgia purposes so maybe the comparison isn't too off. :)

Conrad should be graduating high school this year. I think he said he wants to do a victory lap to focus on some courses he didn't take so he may be studying part time next season while training.

I'm curious to know who's doing his choreography.
 
i think he needs jeff to work on body movement beauty.... and maybe shae lynne for a fun program
 
It was very nice of Conrad to congratulate Joseph Phan on his 4Lz. Lovely to see the sportsmanship!

yes, in general, the skaters are very nice to one another... not always the case among forum users.... Conrad and Joseph call each names too.. it's cute ;) I call both of them my sons....because I started this fan fest which is now taken care of by mango as I am a bad father and yeah... bad bad father..... and was going to start joseph's as well but since i couldn't even handle one son, snowwhite was generous enough to do it...

so yeah.. my sons are very different, very promising skaters and very nice to one another right now . I hope that they share the top of the podium together, like gabby and kaetlyn have in 2017 worlds one day... they have so much potential.

I think you're a better father to Conrad than Joseph. But really, letting both go into the wilderness in the summer is so irresponsible. :biggrin:

Canadian podium sweep in men one day...now that would make some heads explode! But that 4Lz next gen could do it (with improved PCS and consistency).

actually it should be two 3ts because you can repeat 2 jumps, and you want to backload the difficult jumps ;)

agreed on the 3t s not on the backloading quads lol nor on the 3a loop as he likes the 3s one already LOL but i like it :) go conrad
