It's probably better for Cynthia. She's always been better at her first events of the season.

She's doing the right thing. Splint fractures can only get worse. Rest is the cure.

So sad to hear she has an injury. I was hoping she could get out there fairly early in the season and build up a bit of confidence, which must have been shaky at best following her final competitions of last year. She showed so much promise a couple of years ago winning Canadians, I just hope that doesn't prove to have been a flash in the pan. She has the talent to stand on the world podium.
