I can't imagine that DomShabs won't skate at Worlds, with the gold medal within their grasp. In the worst-case scenario, if DomShabs don't go, then watch Khokhlova / Novitski make their way onto the podium.
well this is what i have heard( and i was suprised by the news)...I too think Shabalin will try and make it at all cost.
they cant afford to gave Khokhlova / Novitski any head starts
.
i think he is outHe should have skipped Euros to rest up then come back in full force for worlds.
I hope he does not injure himself more by skating at Worlds........
i think he is out
looks like its happening...now the Russian team will have its work cut outI can't imagine that DomShabs won't skate at Worlds, with the gold medal within their grasp. In the worst-case scenario, if DomShabs don't go, then watch Khokhlova / Novitski make their way onto the podium.

I saw the GPF, and didn't notice Tanith looking happy except at the beginning of the FD. By the end, she looked sad and distressed. The theme of the dance was that lovers go through changes and what was once happy has been changed by life and is no longer happy.
It was Tessa Virtue who looked happy throughout their dance, based on the film "Umbrellas of Cherbourg", and that was totally inappropriate. The girl in that movie was in love with a man her parents thought below her station and when he went off to the military, they forced her to marry another man. But all we saw from Tessa was a happy, beaming face throughout the entire dance.
I think they've chosen to only portray a small part of the story, which is the love part, rather than the part where they force her to marry another man so that he can help raise the daughter she had with the mechanic. But, like you, I agree that all she seems to do is beam throughout the program. She doesn't fill it (the empty space) with herself, rather she lets Scott do a majority of the feeling.
