I think he's posting more lately because he's in semi-vacation mode and Japan is quite a special experience. When they go back to Switzerland, he'll probably be very focused on training and we won't hear from him as much. Although I think he must see the feedback he gets on his rare posts and understands that his fans appreciate his efforts. He could be like Yuzuru with no social media whatsoever, so at least he does share a bit. And it's always something interesting, too. Better quality over quantity, I say.

From what I remember no broadcast was announced for the Niigata shows, at least not at the same time when the broadcasts for Makuhari and Kobe were announced. According to people who were there it was filmed, but, apparently, if there is going to be a broadcast, it will be/is by a local TV channel videos from which practically never appear on the net.

I got to say I'm still kinda bummed I never got to see his "Putting on the Ritz" SP in real life. I remember when I saw his SP on the livestream for the 2015 JGP Riga and I saw it I was like, "WOW!"

I love that their relationship is so close, although it must be very stressful for the coach.

Suddenly I have a great desire to see a Stephane-Deniss cooking show. Wouldn't that be fun? I love the last part from Deniss, too - he's such a bright and interesting young man, so different from the typical 17-year-old.

As for Koshiro, I guess if you fly all the way from Japan, you'd better make the most of it. I wonder if he's just there for choreo or if Stephane is coaching him a little bit. I saw that Diana Nikitina was there, too...must be nice for Deniss to have a fellow Latvian around.

Yes, it would be interesting one day later. But let Deniss have some more experience. This year is going to be quite tough for him. The Olympics, some competitions, maybe some shows and he has to take school leaving exams. Sure he wants to get good marks. As he is a particularly smart boy, he should study. And I'm sure he will.
And his coach is also extremely busy (choreography, skating school, competitions, shows, Deniss to look after and so on). Actually he did very well as a Swiss daddy and supernanny- the boy is healthy, the results in competitions are good, eveything is good at school, he takes part in shows but above all - he is really happy! Just super!

I just meant a short Youtube or Instagram clip or something. Of course they're very busy, but they do have to relax sometimes. And they have to cook every day to eat so I was just thinking it would be fun if they could improvise something. It wasn't that serious, in any case.

Chris Trevisan tweeted this video today...Deniss was 7 here, and falling all over the ice But still, I think you can see some glimpses of amazing talent for his age.
