Ha ha that photo is asking for a "Caption This!"

I don't get to see much skating (time zones, Australian internet etc), but I really love Evgenia's programs. I was particularly intrigued by her short program when I realised she put all the jumps towards the end! It's almost a program done backwards.

- Yes, but I rather feel that I has become a public person. The attention surely is nice, no matter it is praise or criticism. All of this is good. Especially it is necessary to listen to criticism. Basically it comes from strangers, but it doesn't upset me because everyone is entitled to his own opinion. I am very grateful that so many people really worry me.

- You are only 16 years old. How do you manage to cope with obstacles, which any sport doesn't do without?
- I'm quite an emotional person, but my family and coaches really help me. There is a great voltage at competitions, so I feel a strong emotional outburst. It happens sometimes when I come after them into my room and I just sit in silence. But I manage to cope with all this. Also, my parents and coaches are a shoulder for me to which I can cry, complain. Coaches - it is really my second family.

- And do you have any hobbies besides sports?
- I really like drawing, music. Once I set about trying to learn to play guitar. After all I get it, but I it did not even touch it. Maybe someday I come back to it, but, unfortunately, there is no time

- It was a very intense competition. Very intense situation. And I'm glad that I’ve coped with the excitement, and that the audience enjoyed my skating.

- I sometimes get the feeling that you're not worried at all.
- No, of course I feel excitement. But when you feel a support from the audience, it helps to cope with this.

- Do you forget that you’re nervous?

- How will you celebrate New Year's Eve?

- Of course. Salads and desserts. The whole our family prepare together.

- Did you celebrate the New Year Somehow in any unusual exotic place?
- No, we have a tradition to meet the New Year at home with family. And actually there is no time for a trip to any exotic places. 3rd of January we have to go to the ice.

- Don’t you worry the fact that there is no snow [in Moscow]? 1st of January can be impossible to ski or to ride a sledge.
- No, I have absolutely festive mood, and I am very pleased by it. Today I go to a new ice show by Ilya Averbukh "Bremen Town Musicians". It will be festive at all!

- Won’t you go to the "Christmas tree" [on the Red Squre]?
- I think no. Although I went to the "Kremlin Christmas tree" for two or three years in a row.

I think Russia is really missing out on an opportunity here by not broadcasting the ladies draws. These videos generate more views and more interest than most of the actual performances at the event!

At least this year we have a few low-quality amateur vids recorded on mobile phones... all we had last year were pictures afterwards!

I enjoy that at least the competitions are broadcasted completely this year, unlike last year. Generally yes, it could be nice to make a TV show of the draw, as in soccer for example
