Yes, but we are talking about Evgenia Medvedeva who can score very high.
I agree with you, but still, I think test skate is not a certain thing until Europeans.

Evgenia, you can easily clear this up - give us a hint, a little bit of hint...I thought she was going back to Toronto? Now I‘m confused... That TSL guy said she‘d go but the CSKA girl said she wouldn‘t. Zhenya just post a picture of where you are already, we‘re speculating too much over here.![]()
Mabye she is on her way, you all forget that it was her mom's birthday? And I think they wanted to celebrate that with the family, which means that they naturally stayed in Russia for her mom's birthdayIn any event, I am puzzled by the decision to not be back in Toronto now; if we are talking about preparing for ANY sort of competition, wouldn't she want to be in TCC? Unless she's competing within the next week or so (?)
I also really hope she gets the chance to train alongside Javi, who we know Evgenia spoke with about transferring to Brian. I think that will also help her.Mabye she is on her way, you all forget that it was her mom's birthday? You are right. They probably wanted to celebrate with the whole family.

Some cute pictures of Zhenya with her mom.
You know, Zhenya, if you happen to read this forum and will be back in Toronto soon, a video of the #mosticonicloop side by side with Corey Circelli would make many of your fans happy.![]()

I agree. If she wasn't planning on competing the rest of the season, a longer break would make sense. But how do you justify not going back to train ASAP if you may compete in a month or so? I'm not questioning their judgement, but from the outside it is really strange.
But didn‘t this TSL guy say she’d go back to Toronto this week? If she stayed in Russia for her mom‘s birthday, training at CSKA and keeping in shape, it would make sense. I don‘t know... I guess we‘ll just have to wait.
She has been pretty quiet today on social media... is she travelling?

Very likely. And since there's no longer any direct flights between Moscow and Montreal or Toronto, expect a 12+ hours of "tubing" with possibly no WiFi service...She has been pretty quiet today on social media... is she travelling?

I'm not sure if the picture is new or old, but Sofia Muravieva (born 2006, coach is Sergey Davydov who coaches Tarusina and Vasilieva) posted a picture with Zhenya today. So she could still be there or it could be an old picture

it's a mystery especially what the cska girl said.
Did we ever figure out if the Russian Federation is paying Brian Orser or if it's Zhenya herself?
