I really want her to do a SP on Variations on Dark Eyes :biggrin:

I finally listened to this all the way through and it is actually very cool and the person on the violin is amazing but I can’t help but be uncertain about the sheer amount of pizzicato which would be very hard to skate to I think as skating is very fluid and you’d want longer legato phrases imo but if you were to cut it well which you would have to to get it down for a short program I think that it could be very good.

I love this actually and the drama that comes in halfway would be really fun as up until then it is quite pretty and in her usual style but then she could come out with that intensity because from 2:20 onwards it is very intense and powerful in my opinion

Off topic but I also love the visuals on this video with the piano playing in the rain as there is so much draama and I love it. I am a sucker for dramatic piano playing like This
 
I think Metallica would be cool, but I’d pick something besides Nothing Else Matters. That’s becoming a skating warhorse of Metcallica songs.

tbh, I think that music is too powerful, manly, intense for ladies (please don't kick me, and this is not a statement, this assumption). Especially here - desperately need quads. But I'll be glad change my mind :)

Maybe then this ("Autumn marathon") for Zhenya's SP? It is little sad but full of hope. And (little trick) judges from the Soviet bloc will be supportive - it's music from wonderful famous soviet movie, and they will have positive internal reaction :)

I've always thought the score from The Crown would be a good choice for her, very dramatic music and she is a Queen after all ;)

Have others skated to Nothing Else Matters? I think I've only seen the Hungarian girl skate to Back in Black, and that's the only metal song I've seen in competition.

Alexa Scimeca and Chris Knierim's SP to Nothing Else Matters. Alexa brought *all* of the fierce. Others have too, although not necessarily female singles skaters.

I know Zhenya could bring the fierce too, but I would like to see her with a song that she could claim for her very own.
