Look. I think that we have to accept that Zhenya in December 2018 is a total wildcard heading into Russian nationals. I am hoping (fingers crossed) that Grenoble was Zhenya’s rock bottom in terms of her nerves & questioning her jumps. There’s only on and that’s up!

I don’t care if she’s on the podium or not. I’d just like to see her skate clean & sell both programs.

I was looking at these pictures with Zhenya modeling suits to practice ( designs by Sambo 70) I love how she looks with the suit number 4, 5, 6,7, it's beautiful, the detail of the neck and back is charming. I want to see Zhenya wearing a dress with a collar and bare back next season, please!

I have no expectations for RusNats. I don't even know if I'm going to follow it closely because it'll stress me out. I hope Zhenya doesn't have expectations and just goes out and really sells her programs. I hope she's accepted that this is a tough season but if she keeps working she will get to where she wants to be, even if things don't work out this season. If we thought IdF was stressful for her, I can't imagine how she's going to feel at Nationals.

I agree. However, I'm still very hopeful. Zhenya is a great performer and if she skates clean, she will be wonderful.

The short program is 12/21 Friday, free skate 12/22 Saturday. I wonder when practices start and when she is arriving! I really hope she arrives earlier than usual to get acclimated.

Well according to TAT during Evgenia's France FS, she did ask BOrser why he didn't bring her early to acclimatize. So hopefully he learned his lesson and brings her earlier to Russia. Although, if I remember correctly, she did come earlier for Test Skates...

This is the one thing I don’t like TCC. They always come a day before a competition. They do the same to Yuzu and it frustrates me. While his rivals are already there skating in a rented rink or the venue itself a couple days before

But why can't Zhenya arrive first and get acclimated. The coaches don't need to arrive at the same time. Her grandmother is still at the apartment that she lived at before she went to Canada. Plus she can see her dog - Jerry!!!

Hopefully she can go a few days early to visit family but Idk if they want her to train without any coaches there though.
