Yes, the arm positions all kind of remind me of Misha, but she also interacted with Averbukh (I know, I know, but she was seen behind the scenes at his show) and Shae-lynn within the last few days so idk...

so so excited for this SP!!
i love the direction this will take her, it's dramatic like she's used to but the modern twist will push her artistically for sure.
and it will be so different from the FP too, she loves surprising us
and just imagine the dress for this - edgy, dark, and dramatic i'm guessing :luv17:

Do you think Averbukh did it for her in Russia? I would be shocked. He was quite not so nice in a recent article in Russia.
Can anyone recognized the skating rink she is in? I know getting desperate here.

Yeah I saw that. Well it was expected. What about the other version of the I Spin? Where the leg is more to the side? I hope she can do that eventually.

There are other layback spins she can do. There was a video from practice at TCC a few months ago where she did a layback spin without biellmann.

That makes me so sad! She is so young and for her injury to have had that kind of permanent impact is horrific! Hopefully we will see some beautiful side layback variations with maybe a catch foot? The spin variation before she lifts her leg into the Biellmann position is also very beautiful so hopefully she can retrain that and stay healthy whilst doing it.

I would really love for Evgenia to work on her sit and camel variations this off season also. Not to be rude but that awkward leg grab spin she does where it’s almost a sit ruins the flow of her programs for me. I would love to see maybe a leg wrap like what Bradie has been doing this season. If she could build the same kind of speed that would suit her skating style so well. Or maybe even a side variation.

On another note: I‘m sad about the biellmann, too. It‘s my favorite spin variation. But health comes first and that‘s the right decision. I just hope she can improve her spins this off-season, she needs more speed and maybe some new variations would be cool too. The injury is unfortunate but maybe she can use the time in training to practice spins and step sequences even more... I kinda wish she wasn‘t doing doing the Stars on Ice Canada tour, it would give her more time to practice. I know money and building a larger fan base there but still...

Sure, we all know Zhenya isn‘t someone to talk badly about other skaters. (And she doesn’t want people to talk badly about other skaters in front of her either) She respects them and it‘s good that way. But I always feel like when it comes to those two, I have to be careful what I say, as even if I have nothing but respect for Alina, somebody might pick it up differently. I guess it‘s because of all that drama last year, people have become sensitive. But all this doesn‘t matter anyway because Zhenya rightly called out that person and we know her and Alina are on good terms. So everything‘s alright and we shouldn‘t spend too much time on it.

I love the message of the SP, I love the music and I love the first impression video. I have to calm down with my excitement or else it will be a long wait until we first see the program. But I just didn‘t expect news so soon... and then I wake up, see that Zhenya has posted something, expect a picture from Ice Fantasia and what do I get... her revealing the SP music. I was like: ”What? Is? Happening?“

High unlikely, but I really hope she will work with Olga Ryabenko for her costumes! If not maybe even Lisa McKinnon?
