I hope so, since It's obvious the relationship is not any fetish and it's taken seriously, yet Yuri and Viktor still haven't declared their feelings to each other... Even though they have already kissed.

Also, is all manga that gay? I heard Japan is a quite conservative country, but I've been told there is a lot fan service in anime to satisfy fans

Hearing Oda's voice at the end of the episode was such a surprise. This episode definitely killed me

And now I'm picturing in my head a hypothetical pre-GPF dinner between Javi, Patrick, Nathan, Shoma, Adam and Yuzu: I think despite being adversaries they could have some fun, they all seem such cool people!

Plus we finally know why we never get anything more than a few pictures from the banquets: they all get drunk and embarrass themselves

Oh, it's firmly my headcanon that shenanigans go on at the banquets.

Please don't kill me, Oda-fans, but I feel like his appearance foreshadows somebody failing at basic counting. Perhaps JJ? Perhaps Yuri? Or Yurio?

Episode 10 so so gorgeous! It's definitely my favourite episode so far.:clapper: But I just can't help but think that this episode has so many references to the current senior field..I mean, this was broadcasted on Yuzu's birthday and the story is a day or couple of days before the GPF. It's like there are two fs worlds happenning in two parallel universes, but with similarities and influences. I don't say Yuri's character (or the skater-coach relationship) has anything to do with Yuzuru but there are soooooo many details influenced by him.

Viktor POV was a great idea, I really liked this episode. Few mysteries has been cleared out and I think it's good they showed how fangirls (and fanboys) can be tiring for skaters. And wow, I know the viewers don't like JJ much, but I did not think the skaters wouldn't either (well apart of Yuri P., but he seem to dislike most of people )

I know I wanted to see some banquet action, but I did NOT expect THAT. What the hell that pole was even doing at the official banquet? :eeking: And I always thought athletes aren't supposed to drink much alcohol, because it's not healthy...

On Victor's finger, and had Victor slip one on his finger, in front of a church, and then was surprised afterwards when Victor decided they were engagement rings? Like, really, Yuri? But, lol, well, I do love the fact that they're engaged.

I loved that part with drunk Yuri asking Victor to be his coach, and the fact that there was more to Victor's decision than just randomly seeing Yuri's performance and wanting to be his coach. That must have really be some dance off. Ahem.

Victor and Chris chilling out at the swimming pool was a nice touch, shows that they've known each other for ages, and are goid friends, a bit of birds of a feather.

Yurio getting saved from fangirls by the knight on a black motorcycle was so funny. I like how they're embarking on a friendship. The story of Otabek not being able to keep up with Russian skaters rings so true.

Phichit's apparently a combination of MCM, Misha Ge and a troll? Heh. Love the guy.



And the animated Barcelona looks so perfect, brings so many great memories! Like, I remember most of those places! :thumbsup:

Not gonna lie, I'm still floored! Nearly everything that happened so far was suddenly cast into a totally different light...
Why Victor came to Hasetsu seemingly out of nowhere. Why Yurio was so pissed at Yuuri. Why Victor was so... forward and why tried so hard to get Yuuri to talk about his love life. Why he gave Eros to him (it's a flamenco-style SP, and during the Victor-Yuuri dance-off they danced flamenco). Why Chris grabbed Yuuri's butt XD Why Michele called Yuuri a closet pervert and why he freaked out when Yuuri hugged him (poor thing probably thought clothes are about to come off...) Why Chris' SP music is freaking "Intoxicated"... :shocked:

Congratulations, MAPPA. It's the Usual Suspects level of plot twist, except this time I was actually totally tricked. :thumbsup: Well done! :thumbsup:

Yuuri already did that "tribute" at the Rostelecom Cup. He landed four combos in his LP: 4T-1T, 3A-1L-3S, 3Lz-3T and 4T-2T. Under the current rules this wouldn't hurt as much, but as I mentioned here, I have a feeling the rules were not updated in the show and Yuuri "gifted" the bronze medal to Michele

I actually thought that was just an animation oversight, since it wasn't mentioned in the show and if it had cost Yuuri a medal they would have mentioned it.

I am debating rewatching from the start now, instead of waiting for it to end because they seriously turned it all upside down and I applaud them for it. Never thought this is how it all started, never in a million years! Kubo-sensei is one hell of a writer. The opening of the episode where he talks about giving twenty years to skating can also be seen in that light too, where Victor is finally devoting some time to himself. He says Yuuri has given him love and life. I thought that was great.

yeah, I debated with myself whether I wanted Yuri to feel jealous, since everybody seems to want Victor and Chris is so much going on for him: attractive, great skater, close to Victor already, probably easy, not exactly straight... But then if there was anything to happen between Victor and Chris, and I like how Yuri is not jealous, like he understands Victor and Chris's closeness.

Also, After Yuri scrolled down, he saw JJ and his gf with rings, maybe this was what had given him the subconscious kick?

ETA: Not only does Chris grabbing Yuri's butt make sense now but after that little plot twist, the look of hurt and disappointment on Victor's face after Yuri just turned around and walked away when Victor offered a photo back in episode 1 is also more poignant.

I decided that I prefer this because frankly I am sick of the usual road where the other party goes absolutely mental and then we have high end drama so this just made me smile because they're so solid. And yes, possible!

I think I'm probably going to end up shelling out the cash for the DVD. The show is just so good that I won't mind supporting them plus the animation should be fixed for skating which will make it fab. Won't probably stop me from rewatching now from this new angle.

It's also making me laugh to think Yurio lost to Yuuri twice, considering this new thing. And he wasn't drunk, cause minor. No wonder he's ticked off

Oh! I think he definitely got his heart broken, the poor thing. It was he who was pining for Yuuri! And then, he sees Yuuri skating the way he did to Victor's own program and goes after him? It's just so wonderful. And I think you'll get dozens :agree2:

BTW for all of Chris' weird behavior sometimes, I find him really neat now. He is a real friend to these two. While I still can't stand JJ and had to cheer at the walk out!
