Final Cup of Russia

Ito, Harding, Zagorodniuk, Petrenko, Plushenko and Hanuy have/d better ones. Even Yagudin had great ones in SLC and Tuktamysheva at 2015 worlds (alas never ever since that SP). Under COP tough can't say which scored the most. Depends massively on the set of judges and rules at the time.

Lol, looking at the protocol there is some kind of questionable GOEs, but whatever haha. This was a pretty good ladies competition!

In an unlikely event where 2 skaters have to withdraw, Tsibinova couldn't be sent though as she doesn't have technical minimums, as crazy as it sounds, so 2nd alt will probably be Sofia ;)
I was wondering if she did. I thought she might have gotten them at the Tallinn Trophy though..

Ah if she went there she probably has. I couldn't find any info about her besides domestic comps on skatingscores so I assumed she never competed abroad.

I still won't be surprised if Kostornaia is sent over Tuk, knowing Russian Fed...
Does Aliona even want to go? With her current shape and the layout she had today she can risk not being top 10 even. I don´t think she will make much progress in one month, and she seems to not have fully recovered from Covid yet. I don´t think Aliona wants to make her first Worlds knowing she is far from her best. She has no chance to medal with her current shape.

She can do so much better, she needs to rest and prepare for next season. A lot can happen in the Olympic year, it´s not unlikely she can get the Worlds spot next year after the Olympics because the skaters who goes to OG, might want to skip Worlds. Remember Zhenya didn´t go to Worlds in 2018, and Alina bombed.

I think Eteri is the winner, she is happy no matter what, cos even if one of her skaters make mistakes, the other will still come through. Her skaters won pretty much every major competitions since Med took the 2015 GPF and world title, only losing the GPF in 2018, and Euro 2019. Her junior skaters won most major competitions too since Sasha and Alina back in 2017-2018 season.

Edited sorry got the years wrong
You forgot the Worlds 2018, where Kaetlyn Osmond won the gold :D
