FREE skate costume fabric

My sister lives in the Seattle/Bothell area, and would like to get rid of a large box of skate fabric (she used to make costumes for skaters in the Seattle area.) The box has some larger amounts of fabric never used as well as scraps and some incomplete skirts and leotards. All of the fabric is stretch and is velvet, slinky, etc. Lots of nice stuff!

The only thing is that she does not want to mail it, so this would be limited to someone who lives in the same general area. If you are interested, please email her directly at [email protected].

I know this thread is long abandoned, but since a person started this chat: is a regular tailor capable of making a leotard, or this is a job for a specialist only, thanks.

Almost certainly, but whether they will want to is another question...

I'm a tailor but recently branched out into skating wear. Lycra/Spandex fabrics are much easier to handle than I ever dreamed (apart from the insertion of zips, which took me a few minutes to work out but that was blissfully simple once I used my brain) and my very first skating dress turned out really well. Rather wishing I'd been braver in tackling the stuff before now!
