I missed Gracie too at Worlds. I hope she comes back strong next season.

I agree about Gracie really needing consistently. I'm assuming you are referring to Kwan?
Yes, Kwan was consistent, but I think it mainly helped that after 1998, she didn't really get challenged by another U.S. skater. Sarah Hughes had the best 2 days imaginable in Salt Lake City, but that was it. And Sasha usually fell at least once at most competitions.

Really excited to learn that Misha Ge will be doing choreo for Gracie. I loved what he did for Anna Pogo with her SP,and I just can't wait to see what they'll come up with! I refuse to give up on Gracie and still have very high hopes for her.

Gracie just needs to control her nerves. Then consistency will follow accordingly.

She really was aware of what needed to change and what it would take. I really want to fast forward to next season to see how her skating changes as a result.

I wonder if Misha will be doing an EX or an SP or FS. I think Marina is giving Gracie more freedom as far as whom she would like to work with. I'm sure with Marina's guidance, they'll come up with something great.

Honestly, I'm glad that Gracie is going to be doing a program that's not done by Lori Nichol. I'm excited to see her have programs that will allow her to express her wonderful self better. :yes:

No, Marina wouldn't risk taking Gracie if she didn't believe in her.

I would hope that about any coach in any sport. I'm excited to see if Marina can help Gracie become more calm and confident in competitions. I'm not saying that there's a guarantee that it would also work with Gracie, but her methods have certainly helped the Shibs in the last couple of seasons. And I think Patrick Chan has improved a bit from last year as well.

The chances of USA walking away with team gold this year are slim, I say it's cause we lack our golden ace on the team this year. I miss Gracie's skating so much, I need it to be next season now.

I am so ready for her to come out strong and show everyone just how great she is. Few have bested evgenia in a session, and Gracie did at skate America and at worlds.
