Gracie Gold

Very late but congratulations Gracie!! Hope she does her best against the 4 russians + Wagner at the GPF :cheer:

Gracie's super cute exhibition yesterday (today?) to 'Shake It Off.' I wonder if Taylor Swift knows this is her exhibition - they are friends, after all

I am so excited for her - winning her first international event and getting into the GPF! People count her out too soon. Go Gracie! :cheer:

I Think Shake it Off is perfect for Gracie...

But I keep cruising
Can't stop, won't stop grooving
It's like I got this music
In my mind, saying it's gonna be alright

Cause the players gonna play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate
Baby I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake
Shake it off

Good luck at GPF, Gracie! Keep groovin!

I like Gracie too, enjoy her skating, her classic Hollywood beauty, and her personality! Hope she tours with Canada Stars On Ice.

How is Gracie recovering from her injury? Any news? I missed her at the GPF .

Got my question answered, straight from the source. Gracie says she expects to get her doctors' okay to start training triples within the next couple of weeks. She's looking very fit and pretty here, skating to "My Favorite Things" at Rockefeller Center for the Today show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vcow6Sdz9E

Gracie is cute and pretty as usual. Gracie has this cute accent. I am curious, what accent is it, is it Chicago accent? Does not sound like it though.

It's kinda morphing into the stereotypical "Californian" accent some people think we have. But it's definitely a blend of a variety of American accents

Yes, Gracie is definitely starting to sound like a Californian to me. The way the pitch of her voice rises on the last word of a sentence, so she sounds as though she's asking a question when she's not. That is very characteristic of some areas of California. She sounds like a blend of Midwest and California to me.

Commentators at British Eurosport were referring to her as the Grace Kelly of figure skating. I don't think I could argue with that.
