I only saw a reference to a boyfriend once, so don't count on my knowledge. But I seem to remember his being an athlete, possibly on an Arizona team. Maybe someone else checking this thread will know.

Maybe someone will check the thread with positive news. Are there any elite coaches in Arizona she could work with? I don't think having a boyfriend is a be all end all. Lots of skaters have bf/gf or husbands or wives and some even have children and come back, though that's pretty rare. I just don't get the "I have a boyfriend so I'm going to stop skating now."

^^^ I don't necessarily think that's what Gracie is thinking. And what works for some, doesn't for everyone. Positive news, for me, is that she's happy and enjoying her coaching. For now.

Gracie is being productive, sounds like she is working hard and also enjoying life. Her happiness is more important to me than coming back to competition - unless that's 100% truly what she wants. Of course I miss her, but she has to make the right choices for herself.

Agreed. There's no point in her competing if she looks miserable.

I'd love for her to compete again, but I'm not holding my breath. She has a job and boyfriend now. I can't imagine the sacrifices she made to be an elite skater.

Gracie is currently ranked in World standing just behind Bradie. She's still in the top 30.

She’s going to be the emcee for Skate it Forward in Columbus Ohio. Not sure when the date is but I saw it announced a few days back. Not sure if she’ll skate or just emcee but it’s something

FWIW, the photo of Gracie is a lovely off-ice shot of her. Don't know whether that has any significance in terms of whether or not to expect that she will give a performance as a skater??? (In addition to her role as emcee.)

TSL keeps saying she is training with Vincent Restencourt, but are not saying much... actually they seem to be being kinda respectful while still saying she is training. I think they said she was "getting programs" but they were not sure what that meant.

I am friends with someone more in the know, yes she is training with Vincent, there really isn’t any news on if she’ll be ready this season. It seems like she is taking it slow which is exactly what she probably needs to do.
