thanks

^By the way, can a new pairing (no SB, no World or GP standings) be eligible for GP competition? If yes, what are the selection criteria?
Someone else here can probably respond more knowledgeably. I believe that some skaters are eligible who have appeared at GPs previously. For example, Daniil Parkman should be eligible, and he may also be newly partnered with someone who is eligible -- thus split team status.

They can get host spots or be added to the replacement list by winning a challenger. Or one of the previous partners has to have placed high enough at a previous world championship, I’m not sure the exact place but I think somewhere around 10.

If a qualifying partnership splits, new partnerships created by those two basically inherit the qualifying position of the previous partnership.

They will be ranked in the list of Grand Prix Season’s Best scores by taking the season’s points of their partnership with their most recent previous partner, if proof is given in writing by their ISU Member that they intend to continue their competitive career and their return is announced and confirmed by the date of the annual Selection Meeting. Such Pairs/Dance Couples are defined as a “Returning Split Couple” and such Returning Split Couples do not need to fulfill the requirement of a minimum Grand Prix score

Is there a list of eligible participants, once known retirements and splits are taken into account?

This is if you go strictly by ranking, but it's not a given that the new seniors will actually move up to seniors, and the host spots can shuffle around things a bit.
And the WS list isn't completed yet. Vasiljevs, Repond and Lin-Gracey might get one spot due to world ranking, at the expense of Nordebäck and Seoyoung Kim.

Edit:
Looks like the WS list is done. No Vasiljevs, but Hagara will get one spot (-1 for Nordebäck).
For women there are quite a few that will surely get one spot. Schild, Chaeyeon Kim, Yun, Schizas, Repond. That means Seoyoung Kim, von Felten and Sauter might not get any spots at all.

Thanks for putting the list together! It would be great to see Rion and Rino maintain their two spots. About Murakami, I thought she needed to sit out a year since she is changing federations?
I have also read that Tatsuya reconsidered his retirement and is now officially only taking a year off to focus on his studies, but I cannot find the source now. (Personally, I cannot see him coming back though)

Yes, it's early days. I expect quite a few more who will retire (or taking a year off), but haven't officially said so yet. So there might be quite a few changes to come.

It will be interesting to see if skater choice has any effect on ticket sales for SkateAmerica. Right now, ticket sales are kind of ho hum.

I'm really sad that we won't get to see Deniss on the Grand Prix circuit

Kagiyama has announced that he'll be taking the upcoming season off.
I wonder how his spots will be redistributed? Will it go to the next on the WS list so Vasiljevs can have a chance of going? 🥺

He has two guaranteed spots from Worlds placement and would be in the first seed group of 1-3 of the top 12 guaranteed two spots. Stephen Gogolev should be bumped into the top seed group now and Kyrylo Marsak should be bumped up into the two guaranteed spots due to his 13th place at Worlds.

Well, Marsak is almost guaranteed two spots anyway. Kagiyama's absence will probably mean that Nordebäck and Hagara gets two spots instead of one each. After that, there is still 4 skaters ahead of Vasiljevs on the SB list. But who knows, I still expect a lot of wd's, so I wouldn't be surprised if Vasiljevs somehow gets a GP spot anyway.

Hi. Confused a bit.
In the guess gp list for women. Who is Mayindo . She isn't in top 24 of seasons best list or world standing. Howdoes she get one.
Yes Yujae and Yuesong medal in junior. It doesn't guarantee them two. Only Yujea is in top 24 in season best and world standing
Yusrong Is in top 24 in one and outside top 24 in the other.
She might get two but not guaranteed

Sofia von Felton could get host spot.

Question since Kaori retired and Isabella finished 4th is it possible that Alysa, olympic 1st, Amber 6th world moved to fifth, and Isabella 4th world moved to 3rd can skate in same gp as 3rd , 5th and ws 1st rank
