Ice Dance - short dance

I like Tessa's dress, but I think her previous dresses showed her hip action much better. This one is hiding it.

Tessa and Scott, wow wow wow. How do they get to be hot and sexy yet elegant and classy at the same time? Athleticism and artistry in one package.

The scoring at these Worlds have been very strange; normally the marks go up as the season progresses with many skaters scoring personal bests when they are clean.

Yes. I have no problem with the placements or with how far apart V/M D/W are, but the scores themselves are strangely low to me. Oh well.

judges have been in what mood ?
their scoring is very low, might as well let the juniors skate

IF these are the scores continue we are expecting
Julia Lipnitskaya would have won the seniors ladies had she competed , lol

I sort of agree the gap is too wide, seemed like the judges definitely were leaving a window for V/M?

agreed. Very odd worlds - even aside from the falls. Also, while I like Tessa's dress, this one does not highlight how well that girl can move her hips. It's really hides it. I find V/M such a dichotomy....sexy and sultry in one move, classy and elegant the next. Love that in this couple. It's hard to believe so much variation comes out of them.

Well I bet the Shibs are glad they don't have to do Latin for the SD for a while. Big huddle for these guys. BUt you have to admire them for trying to work despite the challenges.

No comparison. V/M are in a league of their own. I would have given them a 4 point cushion. Free Dance will be closer though.
