I came to the same conclusion. Jason wanted to do someting different from last year which was Hamilton and Can't Stop. So this year he did two different pieces. Looks like he's having a blast.

That side by side is seriously awesome! I was mesmerized. I plan to watch it numerous time. He was perhaps more precise at Worlds, but a little slower. They are both such brilliant skates!

Jason was tailor made for SOI. But I am thinking the shorter guest spots are definitely his idea.
So do we think the Brown siblings are gathering in Chicago for their trek through Europe? After all, Jason needs to be back in June for his NE Penna fundraiser.

Everyone’s. There’s a thread about it. Due to maintenance or something.
Jason was seen skating at the Scotiabank Pond facility on Monday per this instagram post. There could be any number of reasons for Jason to skate at a secondary facility. However, last year this was where Jason worked on the choreography of his LP with David Wilson. Maybe they are starting to work on next season's program (or at least discussing music possibilities) before Jason leaves on the Great European Adventure?

Good catch; if so, let’s hope Jason sticks to his guns on music (I thought the mutual admiration society on Jason’s latest IG post between Jason and Benjamin Pasek, whose name I would never recognize without Jason, was cute. So something that speaks to Jason like DEH does:agree: )

Jason said earlier that this summer was a work summer, but he would probably take off a couple of weeks in May. Then later announced that he was trekking through Europe with his siblings. So my guess is that the trek is still to come. I am pretty sure he'll post photos on instagram from the trip when it happens. Then back to Toronto for major training. And, no doubt, new programs.

For some reason, I can't scroll down the comments on Instagram anymore. I'll have to consult with my social media savvy and computer whiz youngest daughter and see if she can figure out why and fix it. I miss all those fun comments.

What device are you using? I stopped being able to scroll through the comments on my laptop a few months ago, but I can still do it on my phone. And I can do it on my laptop when it's in tablet mode, but only in tablet mode.
katmari, thanks for that info on Jason being at Scotiabank. I hope he's getting choreo. I would feel better knowing that one of the programs is being worked on.

I use my desk top computer. I've not tried it on my phone. Not sure why it doesn't work. Maybe they stopped coding that option for non mobile devices. I'll try it on my Ipad. Hadn't actually thought of that.

Didn’t he say in a recent interview (maybe from the Japanese fan club?) that he hadn’t thought about music yet? Of course if that was a month ago, he might have done since then.
I’m just hoping he has his own ideas instead of passively accepting David Wilson’s suggestion. Or at least that they collaborate on the choice.

Thanks so much Katmari - that was really nice and I like the music! Jason seems very calm and poised, which is nice to see. What a great opportunity for him to go back to China. And I’m happy he’s having the opportunity to continue training with Brian and Tracy during a time when he might otherwise not have been able to.
