Junhwan Cha

Oh ... no, this is devastating. :( I wish with all my heart that he will get better very soon and get the injury and (the boots problem) under control.

He must be having a lot of pressure as well, the hometown Olympic, and Korean skating federation, without an star like Yuna, the focus are on him. I hope Mr. Orser will guide him to the right place, he have a long road in front of him, and it takes time for a skater to develop, not much could be rush in one season.

On a positive note, that step sequence is divine. His artistry and ss are even better. And all level 4's :points:

Oh no I didn't even know he was injured I hope he gets better.

Here
is his SP (if it has already been posted sorry).

I like his costume but the back piece is really bothering me, is it supposed to be like that or did he forget to tuck it in :laugh2: because it looks weird just having one side out. I kept staring at it throughout the programme.

Overall I like his SP :luv17:

THE STEP SEQUENCE IS AMAZING. Please be healthy ASAP  The back of shirt also bothered me but it's fashion lol. And please cut your hair :drama:

I thought the costume would look cooler in motion but the back looks weird. But that's our fashionista jun hwan, lol. I too am team haircut.

I came here just to comment on this. I wasn't sure what was going on for the first few seconds....I thought the fabric on the back of his shirt was missing. :palmf:

I thought that too so I thought he was showing his back skin and was scandalized for a good 30 seconds before I realized there was more fabric underneath. Could have been a nice design if the cut wasn't so high up his back and was stitched back together at the bottom.

I was on team no haircut, but after the giant MUSHROOM of hair he had after his last spin, I have converted to the other side. He needs a cut.:drama:

I know there were more fabric underneath (but the underneath fabric colour is again a bit off... not something I would call fashion), but I still can't take my eyes off that part of his back, thinking what's going on there?
Maybe the original design was trying to show off his back line by using an see through fabric...

Jun hwan was unable to attend the awards ceremony and gala. He told the fed beforehand. Went to the hospital afterwards; apparently he can't even put on his boots.
Hoping for a full and speedy recovery. Considering his condition, it's a good thing he's not going to nebelhorn. He needs the extra time to rest/train.

Here is his FP, I guess he's having an off day, I hope his injury are not bothering him too much.

Yesterday after his short he looked angry but now after his free he looks so disappointed and sad in the K&C.

I feel so sad for him, just hope he gets better before any other upcoming events.

:sad21: :sad21:
He looks super disappointed at the end of the program and at kiss and cry, it must be horrible to have injury at the back of your mind when going into full speed jumps.

I hope he take all the time he need to rest and get back to GP, it's going to be a new start there. I can see the protential of The planets, it will be a awesome program, looking forward to see him perform it at his best condition.

I can't guarantee this is accurate, but I heard it was both his hip and ankle, poor kid. Luckily he has almost 3 months until his gp, so hopefully it's nothing he can't be recover from before then.

I can't even express how pissed I am at the ksu. Apparently the injuries are from last year, but he put off treatment for competitions. This is a yuna situation all over again, fed pressuring her to participate in numerous competitions, getting injured...ksu needs to stop stupidly trying to exercise power and actually support their skaters. Hope his injuries aren't too deep and he'll be in decent form by the gps.

Update about Jun's health, main reason of injury was quad toe ,poor baby get well soon..

:sad4:
Poor boy, must be so much pain ... can't believe it's been happening for months already.
I understand that KSF must have high expectation for him, they even put his picture in the Olympic ticket page for figure skating, they still don't know if he is likely to qualify for Olympic. I don't see how it make sense to push things to the point of no return, he is just a boy... ...

Baby Jun finally got a new pair of skate boots. It's Edea Piano. :yahoo:

Happy he's at least not in pain enough to get on the ice. Good thing he's taking it slow, I believe he mentioned earlier he was staying in korea until September. My paranoid self wants him to withdraw from his 1st gp, but if he can be pain-free and in decent competitive shape in 2 months, then all the best to him.
