Junhwan Cha

I believe junhwan is rather under the weather here, as he was seen coughing a lot in practice, and was headed to the medical center(according to reports). Hope it's not too serious and he gets better. (and i hope it's not his injuries getting aggravated!)

Oh that's disappointing. Let's hope it's just a precaution and he's feeling much better tomorrow.

Oh dear... I hope he'll be alright :/ He was wearing a facemask during the draw

Jun is a fighter though, I think he had the flu during the Olympics. I believe in him if that's all, but I would really hope it's not his injuries flaring up.

Last season in some of his performances I got a distinct sense that he was just pushing himself through it, I don't want it to be that way now...

Crossing my fingers for Jun. Hope we'll have a little news before the SP.

Oh yeah, last season was just awful with the injuries. I believe he mentioned earlier this season that the injuries were still there, obviously, but nowhere near the pain. Yeah, I just hope it's just a bit of cold and nothing like his injuries acting up. His growth has slowed so he should be able to make some ways in recovery, unlike the past few seasons where he was sprouting 10+ cm total.

Yes, there's still big chance for medal, he has to be clean. Today he had two URs for 3Lo and 3A but 4S was a beauty though! Wishing him luck for free, I hope he will medal and will have a chance for GPF :cheer:

A commendable effort given his condition. He did rotate the most important jump :p Hope he can get a bit more rest and kill it in the free tomorrow!

I really hope, he'll be fine. He barely smiled so I hope him being sick is just a rumor and he's just a bit tense or exhausted. Can't wait for his FS :).

The quad sal was nice today. Step sequence was great too. Jun seems tired, and justifiably so, but his performance wasn't bad at all. I think with a clean skate tomorrow Jun can snag the bronze. I'm hopeful for him.

I took a look over some of his old protocols, seems he's often struggled with underrotations... I mean, I can't say I'm entirely not worried but I hope he'll be okay

His R&J does seem to be popular, people like it, so I will keep my fingers crossed for him.

Oh, you reminded me. I was meaning to change my user title.

I personally don't think such a dramatic program is quite right for Jun, but the disco and the "JULIEEET!!!" is just really funny. And it's distinctive and memorable, which is good for Jun. Building up some reputation will let his PCS rise.

Congrats Jun Hwan on winning a surprise bronze.
Even with some mistakes in both SP & LP, he went ahead of Boyang Jin who was 3rd after SP. Back to back competitions too, great job!

Congrats on medaling again! He must be so tired with all these competitions so far. He's so incredibly consistent; I'm so proud. I'm sure his rotations will get better as he gains some more core strength and gets used to competing a full senior season(and hopefully his injuries keep healing).

Congrats to Junhwan!! I am just amazed by his ability to consistently put down solid programs in this whirlwind competitive season he has been having. All my respect ❤️

Even though he was sick he delivered a solid program! He can be really proud of himself. Am looking forward to the gala ex. I love his performance for gala ^^!
