When he makes a splash on the scene, either with a great program, or with massive technical content. His skating quality isn't (yet) enough of a standout to fetch him PCS raises when there are still big guns around (who are still beating him), despite his being relatively consistent.
 
OMFG I LOVE IT LOOOOOOVE IT!!! Not to be that person but love how the pants go up to his waist, looks striking but classy. Always thought the purple was too subdued for how crazy the actual program is. Needs something more at the top near the collar but I’ll definitely take it over the last one.
 
Junhwan is such a rising star - he just needs a win or two to solidify his status as one of the top men and not just the new it kid - Jun for 4CC Champion, calling it now!! ;)
 
Okay so dying down from initial hype it really needs something at the top and not a v neck. But I still like it better than the last one. As for PCS, I thought he got closer to what I would give him, but relative to the other skaters, they were low.:(

I think the black is part of the top; it just looks like the pants go all the way up there because of the color. I don't care for the v neck either. He sure loves his lace, lol.
 
I thought he looked good in purple (okay, maybe eggplant is my favourite vegetable and if you cut me I bleed babaganoush), but this one definitely feels more “Romeo” and is quite chic.
 
OMG I LOVE this new costume he looks much like Romeo and not someone who's going clubbin' :love:

Edit: Okay, looked at some more pictures and it still has that clubbin' vibe. But then the program does require that... I still love it anyway, I was okay with his purple one but this new one makes me smile.

I am going to suffer a huge, huge withdrawal after he skates, best busy myself and go light some incense.

I guess he decided against the new costume after trying it out?? Good thing otherwise that stuff animal won't have a matching suit on! :laugh:

Congrats Junhwan! So happy for you and marvelous two programs this season, SB for both I believe?

SP's SB is still ACI.
 
That darling 17 years old on his second senior season got the second GPF medal since the Queen and is the first man to do so oh god oh god he is a miracle
