I just wish she would go to someone else for choreography. She is getting all these Ashley Wagner programs, but she is no Ashley Wagner. Maybe she should go to Akiko Suzuki, she did some great programs for Rika Hongo.

I have to say, I’m really happy with Kaori’s choreography this season. Both programs have character, charm, and a lot of dancing.

I agree. A lot of people seem to have problems with the free but I love it.

I don’t even like jazzy music, but I found the FS to be irresistibly charming and am completely won over. It is my favorite of the two. Kaori is just too cute with the long black gloves and her current hairstyle! There is so much dancing in there . . .reminds me that an ice dancer did the choreography. I usually like Marie-France’s work for ice dancers, and could not understand why she wasn’t giving Kaori more to work with. I was convinced that Kaori could dance and perform like this, and now she gets the chance to do it! Watching these programs makes me happy

One could argue that Kaori has had a fair share of gold already . . .but I wouldn’t mind at all if she claimed a 4th World title. In fact, there is no one I’m rooting for more. The Legendary Kaori Sakamoto is legendary either way, so I hope most of all that she has fun at Worlds 2025!
