I asked the same thing, apparently she was ineligible from her last 4th cup of russia competition

My wish finally came true, Adelina nailed her Bolero SP
Lovely 3Lz-3Lo, she has control of her growth spurt and pressure

She didn'd qualify for nationals.

Compared with how other skated, I actually think Adelina was underscored! I mean she landed the most difficult jumps, and spins, steps and everything was top notch. She should be more than 5 points ahead of Julia. Comparing their Technical score I wonder if Adelina was hit with UR or "e" on her Lutz

I think the judges gave her such score because of her instability this season compared to Julia..

but Adelina had her 2nd growth spurt and had to deal with huge pressure to win all senior grand prix competitions and her posters
were even posted at the cup of russia. I think she has gotten her confidence back after winning Zagreb cup
this is the first time she nailed her Bolero sp

While I am grateful that Santa made my wish come true and Adelina was flawless, I would be the happiest person if Anna Ovcharova skated well. I love her spunk and originality!
(is it just me or Adelina lost some weight? Not that she needed, of course. I thought she was skinnier than I remembered)

looks like another clean sp for Makarova,
Im not happy at all , I was so sure she will bomb her sp :sheesh:

hope the other girls skate well in LP
it dont want Makarova either in Euros/Worlds
you never know what to expect with Makarova and very inconsistent at Internationals

She was to give a better result than Liza in her gp..I hate it when junior skaters are put into such pressure. I'm just glad that Adelina nailed everything in her program.She needed it

well Makarova has a history of Inflated scored at Nationals

( yes she always has a wonderful international season )

Yes, you might be right. She really skated lights out. And Adelina was 5 points ahead of her on TES, so I guess it's ok

Well she is only about half a point ahead of Adelina in PCS, and about 5 points behind in TES...(I think roughly equal to the point difference in jump content and Russian COP's difficult 3-3 bonus)...
I think thats about right, although I personally would have Makarova further ahead in PCS...this SP is one of her best programs ever, she has much better lines and hits nicer spin positions than Adelina, etc...

Anna is a special skater, she was injured last season and didn't compete but she was quite successful in the 2009-2010 season, winning the SP at junior worlds in front of Kanako Murakami(though she really blew it in the LP). I hope she will slowly regain her jumps because I really like her

I love Anna's originality. Why she was alone in Kiss'n'Cry?

I guess her coach was with Alexandra Deeva at the moment, she skated right after Anna.

I was able to watch Adelina, Julia and Elena Radionova. What can I say? All three were amazing and I enjoyed watching their SPs so much! Especially Adelina! She skated like a real senior, lots of transitions, great skating skills, the hardest jumps content... and a nice dress! I'm soooo happy for her! Elena is just cute, love her huge jumps, beautiful spins and musicality. Julia is a star! She is gorgeous, fingers crossed, I want her to win her first medal at Nationals!
