Wow...what do these results say about Skate America last week...
I think the technical specialist was MUCH more lenient
It wasn't the same one was it?
The top women here all have much better jump technique then Zhang.

Skating is still very much a political game with the PCS scoring . . . no doubt about that!
Yes, somebody mentioned Satorare , if he sees three double axel what will he respond haha?

Wow some of the judges are pretty brutal with the wrong-edge thing taking -3 off for Mao's triple lutz. A bit extreme I would say...

Question for the posters watching the live feed (I was not one of them) Was
Asada in a class of her own?
jump taking off wrong edge. That's what the "e" means?
lol...I love how you (Slutskaya) brought up Caroline since I'm a huge fan of her, but I was not only referring to her but the skaters in general: Kimmie Meissner, Miki Ando, and the rest of the eleven skaters that were downgraded on at least one jump. I noticed that some of her Emily's jumps were not downgraded here like they were in SA, and they were CLEARLY underrotated. Also, I don't see how Nakano's 3A was ratified, but whatever. Mao really skated well, but she I really like how the long brings out the grace and fluidity of her movements.![]()
