Emily Hughes skated well for her, but I find Zhang already is clearly the superior skater between the two. I would never have placed the performance of Hughes over Zhang after seeing both, but I suspect the judges will.

Great performance for Zhang on her first senior competition. IMO her pcs was well deserved. She has some room left to grow on her skating skill and etc. But still great. I'm rather baffled by her TES score.

I don't know whether it's puberty or the coach, but that's a drastic backslide from her previous level of skating. It's really serious.

Layback, very fast, though not very hard one
Combo spin, one change of edges, but basic positions

Straightline, a lot of turns, and kneels on the ice, very fast. Nice!

Ok that was pretty! Especially because her warm up was not good, but the jumps were good!

Yeah, second 3t horribly cheated, even more severe than zhang's.

Former U.S singles skater, was controversialy bumped from the 92 Olympic by both overscoring for Wylie's Nationals performance and Eldredge's bye to the Olympics. Finished 5th at the 92 Worlds, 4th at the 93 Worlds. He was the one on the left BTW, the one in the middle I have never seen before.

I did not think Hughes was coached by either of those last year.
