Do not love this music that Rachel is skating to. Great jumps and straight line footwork but that's it. She should not place over Mirai or Joannie.

No. It was a clean, strong skate and her placement is deserved.

her GOE is insane. I think such a high score is from the judge's compassion, more or less.
4 yrs ago, the judges gave zhang/zhang the silver medal they did not deserve. I do not want it to happen again.

I thought Joannie skated that SP the best she has all season. There was more freedom in her movements. I teared up at the end and sincerely hope she has an amazing free skate.

That was a totally, out of body, Joanne. It's just so special that she was able to channel all her grief and emotion into her skating. It could have gone so another way. That was absolutely amazing. No matter what happens in the rankings, that would be one moment I would remember from this Olympics.

You know what I would find interesting to watch is a documentary strictly on judges scoring. Watching how they are reviewing a skate and then scoring it afterward because NBC just showed a overhead cam of some of the judges and I could see one of them erasing something on some sheet of paper.
