I found Mirai's speed across the ice and attack to be lacking in tonight's performance in comparison to Nationals when she was really on fire. She also didn't quite show the charismatic expression here that she showed at Nationals. That 3Lutz+2toe combination was a little shaky too and lacking in speed and flow. Still, she should be pleased with her Olympic debut and she received a nice score. Good for her!

I'm watching NBC and after Mirai all they are showing is Nordic combined.....trying not to fall asleep. I thought Mirai was great...missed everyone else except Tugba...will have to watch the videos.

She only registered for the 3Lz+2T though.. not sure if she ever was really going to go for it.

She was most likely VERY nervous, I'm proud of her!
