Ladies' SP

78.50! Yu-na rocks the house
I'm in awe with this lady, this primma donna, this powerhouse skater! I love her
and wish her the best of luck in the LP!

The "chosen" one for the men didn't win so they probably want to make sure the chosen won for the females wins lol

woa! so proud of Mao for finally nailing the short, of Yuna for skating so great under pressure! and Mirai, still holding right up there! and Akiko great step sequence!! they are really putting their best presentations, yay!

Mao is by no means out of this event. We've seen Yu-Na bomb this year in the LP. Doesn't have her usual 10+ point after the short.

It should have been closer between Asada and Kim. Way to sap any suspense out of this event guys.

This just means that Mao is going to have to have the 2 3a jsut to compete and/or Miki (assuming she's close) is going to need everything to be close. However, I also think Yu Na is going to need to pull out more than just 5 triples to win the OGM if those two things occur.

she definitely deserves that score!.....remember, she didnt get lights out pcs like the dancers, those were fair, but her 8 elements were performed very well, with the according + goe given as a reward.....so her SP score is very fair

Guys, instead of falling for a certain troll's behaviour, hit the Report Post button under it's user name!!

Not at all surprised by the results so far. I actually thought Mao under rotated both the Triple Axel and the Flip. The Flip especially looked close to two footed. Whereas Yu Na's jumps were squeaky clean and for those crying foul....Yes, Mao did attempt a Triple Axel, but she tacked a double on to it. Yu Na did a Triple Triple, which is more points regardless how you slice it, so not sure where the problem is.

Other than those who need my white cane worse than I do that is....

GO JOANNIE!!!!!
