Just US skaters, I've seen:

Marissa Secunde - I find her stroking to be text book beautiful. Speed was apparent with her jumps and spins. The overall flow was excellent. A little more polishing up and we will be talking about her next year

Daniel O'Shea - Faulty at 16 but I think at 18 this young man will be making waves.

Carman/Kierine - WOW. In a couple of years, US Pairs will be all about this couple and McL/Bru.

Attn: Fans outside the USA. Any new faces I should be on the lookout for?

well to add to the US skaters - Keegan Messing... he's entertaining, refreshing, and the boy can jump! :)

I love Brittney Rizo. She, for me, has the "it" factor.

I too, would love to hear about up and coming skaters from other countries.....

Ivan Bariev from Russia is one to watch (I think he's in his mid-to-late teens)

Bariev will be 17 in April.

He kind of bombed in the JGPF, though, finishing 25 points out of the medals and 36 points behind the winner, Adam Rippon.

This sort of a tough subject right now, since we are technically sending 2 lower tier skaters to Sweden.

Yes, but Bebe could be considered a lower teir skater as her best international placement is 3rd at 4CC in 06 I beleive and no medals at the GP.

However, 2 years ago Kimmie was the world champion. She made the GPF and won a SA this year. No matter how she bombed at Nationals she is NOT a lower tier skater.

I think there is some real talent coming up through the ranks right now. I was at Nationals for the Novice events this year and agree that we will be seeing alot more of Melissa Secunde and Daniel O'Shea. I also saw the pairs and dance events and I think the top couple of teams in both disciplines could have easily competed a level above Novice and still been quite successful.
