I'm so pleasantly shocked by just how much better this program is here. She's improved everything, her arms, projection, extension, the little details in the choreography, even the dress. Mai seemed much less nervous here than at AC, and it showed. Still not the biggest fan of the choral music, but when she sells it like this I forget all that. She's amazing

amazing indeed!!! agree with everything you said, she improved everything since AC, glad she stayed in Canada to work with David, and have to say i didnt see that rippon 3S coming at all!
one of my favourite moments from the program is the part with chsq and landing of 2A and how she uses her arms, its so light as if she is feather falling on water also its very fitting to the note :luv17:

I adore how Mihara taking risk , she is a powerful ans consisten girl . She can polish her program and improve her expression, her BV is high so if she does not fail, her TES will always be an advantage. I hope her good streak follows, I like Mai a lot :luv17:

Side by side comparison of Mai's FS at ACI and JO, you can notice some lovely improvements just in couple of days! Can't wait to see CoC also nervous for her :luv17:

I remember watching Cup of China last year and thinking that she was an interesting, bit different skater. I wouldn't have thought she'd be one of a select group of contenders for an Olympic Medal.

I'm excited to see her this weekend, and see if she can build off the momentum from Japan Open. Also I'd love to see how her SP has improved from ACI, I feel like her performance and presentation in general has really improved this season.
