Great skate for our girl! It'll be amazing to get this medal so she can go to Euros and Worlds. Wish her all the best in the free. :D Thanks for the videos all. I'm on holidays so grateful I can get all the news in one spot.

Single axel cost her silver but she should really be proud. Skating after Med couldn't have been easy and she kept it together. Bravo :clap:

Congrats to Masha! In the midst of the scoring hoo-ha, let's remember that Masha has had her share of underdog treatment both in juniors where she was playing bridesmaid to Zhenia + Sima, then Polina, and also in seniors where she's been lowballed at GP despite clean performances. She and Anna are likely to be both going to Euros & World's this year so we can be happy for both of them.

And she also has bucked a trend, most of the others have been struggling with growth yet she improved the most in the year (2015) where she also shot up the most in height. Hoping that her stable performance this year is a good sign of future longevity...

I love her and hope she continues to improve and I'll echo the above mentioned recognition of how tough it must have been to follow Zhenia. This was perfect training for a Worlds type situation where the pressure is on. This bronze is huge for her and it couldn't have come at a more important time in her career!

Congratulations Masha! This competition was very important. The international judges already seemed to love her but after getting into the Russian team I think her PCS will be a few points more. Building more reputation will also give her more confidence.
I remember she was a lot slower at the test skates which is improved. Plus her jumps looked more rotated to me at this competition, clearly she is working on them.
I wonder how she will compete against her idol Carolina at Euros? I bet the two will be fighting for the bronze medal.

According to her former periscope-streams she is indeed a cool girl and I dont question her skating skills, but seriously, her programs of this year are so HORRIBLE boring, that I am always happy when it is over.

I'm afraid it's Groundhog day at second part of the season. In the last season after Russian Nationals she started to regress beginning with Russian Junior Nationals, then at YOG, and then at JW. :(
