Maria Sotskova

Nice interviews as always. She says that she felt a different excitement this time, maybe that was the source of power leading to this good result. Whatever it is, I hope she brings it everytime cause it was amazing to see her not thinking about the elements, purely enjoying the skating. She looked totally relaxed and in the mood to present her programs well!

Masha is coming more and more lively to me now. Her expression has improved significantly, especially in her gala. With her recent interviews, I began to know more about her personality, and I like how blunt she is when answering questions such as the reason that she skates mostly to classical music is that she could not skate to something fast, but she does not like classical music that much and prefers pop music, etc. She's no longer just the pretty girl with instagram #formeworldispink to me, and I hope more and more fans will get to know her better and appreciate her skating more!

The girl has astounded me with the smiling brilliance and the lightness of her skating in Nagoya. Keep smiling and blaze forward, Masha! I hope to see you shine better than ever in the latter competitions either in Worlds or Olympics!

ps. have we gotten a word as to how she's dealing with the Olympic fiasco?

- What is your attitude to the Russian team's admission to the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang only under a neutral flag?

- I do not think about it at all, because the skaters at the moment are not very concerned, because ahead of the national championship, where the selection for the Olympics will be held, and only now the Grand Prix finale has ended, from which we still did not have time to leave. Personally, I do not think about it at all and do not want to think, because as it happens, it will. In any case, we can not change anything. Just need to work and do your thing.

Dropping by to wish Maria good luck in the SP. :cheer: As I said in the GPF thread she has become one of my favorite ladies this season.
Lovely skater with her own unique personality on the ice and for me she is a breath of fresh air!

Good luck to princess Masha! First a clean pinky waltz and then another enchanting Clair de Lune skate will give her a ticket to the olympics:yes:
