oke iv'e calmed down a bit, johnny is the winner in my book he did the quad he want for it, and should be very proud of himself, you go johnny and you rock the top of the worlds podium!!!

WEll, Evan, imo, has that type of musicality that comes from skating fast, waving arms and putting drama on your face. I think Johnny definetly feels the music more naturally. But the judges have always liked the fast, perky, happy skaters. Johnny may need to skate to music with a happy, fun thing going on.

No surprise that Evan won since the US judges really would rather send Evan as the champion not Johnny. Usually Evan skates well enough that they can make sure to inflate his scores so he wins outright!

Wouldn't the highest PCS scores win in that case for the LP?

If their scores were tied for the LP itself, then, yes, the PCS score is the tie-breaker. In this case, the tie is in the overall score, so the tiebreaker is the winner of the LP.

Can't wait to see this. Everyone should be very proud of what they accomplished!

well even though Evan won, I'm sure it doesn't feel the same to win because of the rule book than to win in actual competition. However, congrats to him.

OK! I don't understand why he won the free skate if he made that many mistakes. I know that they are both showman so how could this be.

no matter who won....the point is that johnny and evan got the chance to go to worlds and there it will be more important who will take the medal and in which color!

but yeah..it must be really dissapointing for johnny...witch such tie...

but I realized that finally johnny IS BACK!! gpf was not good but this season overall is exciting for him in my opinion....he skated brilliant at his two gp and then there...hope he will show it clean at worlds again:thumbsup:

I'm tellin' ya, it's all that wavy arms stuff. Gets a high PCS, for wild arms. Sry, I just can't stand fake artistry. Like many of the girls now are gasping with open mouths, so they look like they are sooo into it.
