I'm trying on JLC's internet tv, so far no luck on the NBC stations. Beep-Beep was watching yesterday, apparently.
KPVI-TV(NBC) will bc it.
The ISU thing was more of an example. Every real fan is going to watch it live anyway - it's not like soccer where only the result is interesting and the game mostly boring. I should stop getting worked up about this. :disapp:
EddieLee, are you at the arena?? Could you let us know what is happening? The suspense is killing me!
does anybody remember the site from last years us nats? i dont remember if we could watch live...but i remember that there was a LOT more coverage than there is this year...this was before ice network took over and everything but im surprised that the coverage is less than last year when it seems like there should be more...
This year all coverage has been contracted from USFS to icenetwork, and you can watch everything live. They have NEVER offered that sort of coverage before, and it's really fantastic, if you choose to pay for the coverage. And of course, icenetwork wants as many people as possible to pay for the coverage, so they aren't going to offer any scoring updates while the competition it going on.
I didn't pay for the coverage, since I've been out of town all week, and wouldn't have been able to see anything until the weekend, anyway. But I totally understand why icenetwork chose not to offer online scoring. It just takes away people who might otherwise pay. It's a business decision.
Oh, and I understand why FSU requires payment for their forums, too. It's very expensive to run a forum with that sort of traffic. Both icenetwork and FSU are very cheap for what you get.

The way I look at is that USFSA got paid twice - once by all the IceNetwork subscribers who got the shaft and then by NBC!
