Men's Injury Status?

who of the men (who haven't pulled out) are injured, who are healthy?

I know Johnny and Tim are both battling injuries... are there others?

Evan Lysacek has a stress fracture (in his hip, I believe).

ETA: I just read that Jordan Brauninger has a hairline fracture in his fibula.

Well this sure has been the season for injuries... I hope Johnny can come back and perform like I know he can despite the injury. It would be a shame for him to lose the national champion title with so much talant

AFAIK, Lysacek's still in for Nats; all I've heard was that the hip injury has been making the 3axel difficult for him (as if he didn't need any MORE problems with it )

It's too bad, we can't get a bigger podium so all these skaters can get on it even if it takes crutches. (oooh, a sick joke :sheesh: )

I haven't heard anything about Savoie recently. He wasn't on the GP AFAIK (if he was, it wasn't very high up on the placings ), but he may just be foregoing the GP to focus on Nats.

i wish evan would have taken the time to help heal his hip. he is far too good of a skater to risk something like this. if he isn't more careful it could turn into a bigger problem and have to take off more time to heal, you don't want to risk that with an olympic year upon us. i hope he gets better soon!

Boy, the men's field sounds like a casualty list -- Weir, Goebel, Lysacek, Savoie, all battling injuries or recently recovering from injuries. Weiss has been injured so many times, but he seems to be healthy, at least for now.

If there is a splatfest at Nationals, it's going to be as a result of those injuries.
Heaven forbid that such a nightmare occurs (again, as in 2003).
