Men's SP - Please discuss and share PBP here!

Kozuka's SP was a thing of beauty!!

That young man rocks bigtime.

I like that little pat that his coach gives him on his back before he goes out. So cute.

Jeremy currently in the lead by some good margin.
3 and a half points are not "some good margin". So long as nobody's ahead by double digits (which Kozuka is not, and Chan likely won't be), I think the LPs tomorrow will be very exciting.

WOW!

He's now officially a contender for gold.

Patrick Chan!!

hard fall on 3a..
3f-3t
another fall on 3z..
What's going on?
His expression and projection are magnificient.
Such a beautiful program.

Bad falls on the axel and solo flip from Chan.

But the skating skills and choreography are superb.

It's like Buttle never left.

Love the modest manners of Taka. He is very calm after the performance and bowed at K&C. If I just watch the way he and his coach reacted, I couldn't tell that it was such a fab performance.

I'm kind of confused as to how Kozuka's TES was so high. To the best of my knowledge, the only guy without a quad to get a higher TES in his short was Dai at 4CC, and that was a GOE-happy event. I'm not watching, but is it really justified?

I knew Kwong would jinx Chan. Only a powerful ancestor can protect a skater from such blatant interference! ;)

Quite the splatfest for the men. Only Abbott and Kozuka stood upright. Both skated beautifully but I would not have Kozuka
so far ahead of Abbott. Poor Patrick I hope he does better in
the LP he is capable of so much more.

I'm sure every single element big GOE. He was that strong.

I loved Taka the best. I love his SP better than his LP. The entire program is like a long step sequence and he does that with great speed. I just love it. He doesn't dance too well, but his edges do.

I know Chan has good choreo and skills, but the second highest PCS on the day, with two falls? Seriously?

SBS don't broadcast Men's SP and Pair's SP on TV. They air all the competition through the internet though. Today, on TV, you can see only Ladies' SP and Ice dance's OD. You better find another way to watch it.

thanks fot the info.. will they broadcast fp of all categories at least tomorrow?
