Florent stays in the lead going into long program followed by three Americans by small margins. Placement could be very different tomorrow.

Oh, the crowd LOVED Ten. They also went nuts for Amodio. They even booed his scores.

Mahbanoozadeh - nice smile. Everything he did was of good quality. I don't expect he'll receive much, if any, -GOE.

Dornbush - 3F+3T, 3lz, 2A. His jumps look so easy! Great spins. He didn't look totally "ON" but it was a solid skate.

The standings seem quite fair to me. Overall, great skating today!

I just realized that Denis Ten is not the one from Canada. (Can't remember his name? Jeremy maybe?)

Jeremy Ten. He skated at SC and CoC.

I just realized none of the men had a fall. Kudos to great skating:clap:

Thank you far the wonderful pbp Oleada!

Wow this looked like a great comp for the guys with many clean skates. I hope Florent can hang on tomorrow and that Artur can move up a little ( not sure about Gachinski, there are so many great skaters here ).

Thanks so much oleada !

AMODIO!!!

I was nearly afraid that one of the 3A-less US-guys would overtake him. Though I loved the second one with the strange name, great posture, fantastic speed and flow - and he seemed to enjoy being out there. The first American was like the male version of Alissa Czisny (I am not a fan of her...), the third American looked like he had to read from a telephone book and not skate and dance to some music.

Did Amodio had somehow low levels? He only has one point TES more than Amercian-guy-with-strange-name - Amodio only did 3S-3T, but that's just one point less than 3F-3T. But the Axel should have given Amodio nearly 5 points more.

But - a great short program, the 5 leading men all had clean programs.

I suspect Amodio had lower levels in his spins than Mahbanoozadeh. Armin was a great spinner. Also, Amodio did 3S+3T while Armin did 3F+3T, so that might have off set some of the difference.

I really enjoyed Johnson, but he had some slips here and there. Dornbush looked a bit lost with the big music, but his jumps are so easy looking! Overall, the judging was quite fair.

Nice to see Amodio win the SP. I watched him last year and said to myself that France is building a good stable of male skaters.

Gatchinski, I've heard so much about and have never seen a decent skate from him. Maybe he'll put a good one in the LP.

None of the Amercian boys have grabbed my attention except Rippon during that last junior season.
