According to the official twitter/X, Mao Shimada and Hannah Yoshida will both take part in the Nagoya Festival, considering Mao's currently a student at Chukyo and Hannah originally from Nagoya.

I have read somewhere that Kao Miura will no longer be participating in the Nagoya Figure Skating Festival due to his injury. I'll see if I can find an appropriate source for this information.

It seems that he had posted a message on his IG account, mentioning more withdrawals, which has been deleted very soon after. I must say that I pray for his health. I hope that he will take the time needed to heal, while also hoping that he will be able to participate in the championships he has been assigned to in the next months.

I too hope he can heal up in the best possible way, even if he has to withdraw from the championships he has been assigned to.

A few updates after the conclusion of this year's Nagoya Figure Skating Festival:

• Rika Hongo, Shunsuke Nakamura, Mei Okada, Hanaha Takeshima, Miku Enomoto, Rui Jinno and Yuka Hioki were added to the cast.
  
  
• The stream of the show will be archived until January 19.
  
  
• A broadcast is scheduled for January 12 from 0:45 am (JST) on Tokai TV with commentary by Machiko Yamada and Kanako Murakami.

  At the Nagoya Figure Skating Festival (organised by the Chunichi Shimbun and others) held on 4 January at the NGK Arena in Nagoya, ‘Machiko Sensei: Stories of love told with Midori, Mao and Shoma’, a book based on a serialised article in this newspaper, was put on sale in advance. Ms Machiko Yamada, a commentator for Tokai TV, also visited the special booth and handed over the book, which traces her life as a coach, to fans who had purchased the book.
  
  When asked by a fan to ‘keep up the good work’, Ms Yamada shook hands with them with a smile and took a photo with them. She enjoyed interacting with the fans, despite the short time she had with them, and put on a calm face as she said, ‘Please continue to support me.'
  
  The book will go on sale to the general public on 21 January, priced at 1,650 yen. The book is a true portrait of the famous coach, with many interviews with Yamada and comments from many of her students, including Midori Ito, Mao Asada, Kanako Murakami and Shoma Uno.

My gosh! That was quite a cast! This is such a fun event. I was hoping one particular skater would do a guest appearance, but maybe next year! The book sounds like it would be a treasure trove of amazing experiences. Coach Yamada is definitely Skating Royalty!!!! Thank you for raising our Shoma so well!
