Name the prodigies and the budding talents!

I think this boy has an enormous talent... classical clean line, incredible spins, nice flow, etc. His costume and choreography is interesting but not over the top. Can anybody tell us more about him?

I remember somebody posted this video a few months ago... very impressive. i love this kid's smile and yet he is so mature for his age.

I actually remember getting the book a young skater at my local library when I was about 6 or 7 and Katherine Healy was on the cover. I remember seeing the movie she was in with Mary Tyler Moore and Dudley Moore and I was like...hey that's the girl from the cover of the book!!

I have seen her dance and she is just so graceful...her skating is the most beautiful out there...she might not do the jumps but her spins and footwork and presentation are just awesome and I don't think that any one can compare!!

And yes her story is really amazing.

Healy was skating regularly with Ice Theatre of New York and she even did choreography. And just looking very much the ballerina. Haven't seen her lately.

Yeah, 10-year-old intermediate national champion Nina Jiang!!

She's the cutest little girl! Great height on her jumps, no under-rotations, great musicality & performance skills, good edging, speed, and basic skating skills. She's got a bright future!

I do believe Tiffany Stiegler grew too tall for pairs. Johnny Stiegler, in my opinion, was the weaker skater of the two. His decision to quit was a good one. Tiffany, however, was/is, a very beautiful and talented skater.

Dizzy

Slightly off topic. Their sister Stephanie also skated pairs for a time with John Zimmerman. They seemed to be on the track to success when they finished 4th at Nat's in 1996 and then 3rd in 1997. Then, Stephanie had an injury which sidelined them in 1998. I recall there was a question if they would re-team after her recovery since there seemed to be questions floating around. After that, he started skating with Kyoko.

(^)

Brynn Carman & Christopher Knierim:

I am wondering if anyone heard about this team. They are the current U.S. Novice Pairs Champions and they train along with McLaughlin/Brubaker in Colorado. It makes me wonder if Colorado is on the way to become the hot bed for US Pairs skating.

.... and my god... look at the height of their quad twist!

yes, it´s really great to see this couple

but i heard, she is too young for the isu-senior competitions the following season and he is too old for junior
is that right
can somebody tell us, what they plan to do

It looks like they will be age eligible for the 08 JGP/Jr.Worlds. However the following season of 09 he will be too old for the JGP and she too young for the GP, right?!

Coach Dalilah Sappenfield coached 5 U.S. national pair medalists in 2007-08 -- the senior, junior and novice champs, the novice silver and intermediate bronze medalists, as well as the 6th, 10th and 13th place senior teams.

Carman/Knierim will have one season of ISU junior eligibility (2008-09) and she technically will be old enough (14 by July 1, 2009) for Senior Grand Prix events in 2009-10 but not ISU Senior championships until 2010-11.
