The caravan looks really good to me, much fuller than the sun valley version already.

and this is the reason, why I support a simple T-shirt if cannot figure out costumes. because a short sleeve T-shirt is visually compensating and flattering Nathan's shape and lines than his current LoA costumes. although a cleverly designed real costume would be better.
I thought the black t shirt he wore for Tu Sei made him look more filled out compared to the blue Land of All shirt.
). yet, the upper body cloth cannot be bunched up to his neck as well. thus I recommended lower neck and collar in the back design. Also that is the same reason why his Vera Brush Stroke (with horizontal patterns) looks great on him. Also the reason a short-sleeves T-shirt looked better, which also can open up his upper body and balance out his over-all proportion. There's a funny part at 34m43s where they talk about how Alina is so in love in Japan that she uses chopsticks while the other foreign skaters use only knives and forks. Nevermind that Nathan probably uses chopsticks natively, but they also show Mariah using a spoon to drink her soup(?). LOL

Actually I don't think his costumes are that bad, of course not great like most other skaters who were probably wearing their final costumes. The LOA costume actually has a diagonal asymmetrical cut at he bottom. I think it's a simple and common men's costume design that's supposed to create some movements below waist line. It might not be the best fit but I still want to give him some credits for the effort. Plus the blue color actually looks great in the dark lighting and matches the music and atmosphere. The caravan white shirt does have a poor fit, but the vest looks ok, overall it looks better with shirts tucked.
I think all of Nathan's white shirts need to go, if he likes the simple and clean designs, work with costume designers, invest on a few "basics" that he can proudly wear again and again, like the nemesis black shirt.

Have to say this before on the go again:
Both costumes for caravan and LoA need to go!!!!!!
Every time we have these costume discussions I can't resist picturing Nathan in an updated shiny shirt (Stereo Hearts style), made from proper stretchable athletic wear fabric.
Yes, Caravan costume has to go. The shirt is horrid, and even that vest is no good, because it bunches up. Look at the gifs of the opening moments of Caravan. The vest bunching distracts me from Nathan's hair, and Nathan's hair should never have to share the spotlight with anything but his skating.
Actually I am now on the fence about Land of All costume. I still have several objections, but I'm afraid the change will be for the worse, so maybe it's better to stick with the devil I know?
That said, I would be very happy if the following modifications were made to the shirt:
1)shorten it all over, even if maintaining the left right asymmetry means a risk of flashing abs. (it's also possible to add on a blue panel of the same color underneath, like with 2016 Nationals Saint-Saens top)
2)shorten the sleeves at least a few inches so I can see his hands more easily
3)sew on appropriate Star Fleet rank designations on the sleeve cuffs
I'm kidding about #3, but I'm serious about 1 and 2. I would even accept the way it loosely flops around--in pictures of the final pose you can see the shirt pulled here and there and no longer properly aligned on him. Despite my costume gripes, I already watch Land of All from Osaka obsessively, and now all I want is for the commentators to hush up, and the jumps to all be properly landed.

When I saw him on the ice in that LOA costume, my first reaction was "oh, he is actually wearing a costume (not a random t tshirt or a white shirt)". I just want to applaud his effort. This is not to say that I don't prefer a simple tshirt.
