Ando has retained most of her jumping ability. Impressive, and good job. Nice costume and boots-under-stockings, too.

But, same basic strategy/layout as 2010-2011 FS, very empty and backloaded.

Solid skate, 4 triples. Quite empty program and the spins need work, but a respectable comeback!

Miki was super cautious but what a comeback after 2 seasons! As a mum!!
She looks in an amazing shape. WIsh she'd wear something similar to the practice costume- she looks stunning in those.

I just watched it was a bit empty especially in the transition department
but still her marks were low, a point only ahead of Cain, really ? :sarcasm:

Miki's skate was devoid of in-between content so transitions, choreo, etc. shouldn't be high. Even her performance/interpretation was so-so, but that was never her strong suit even when at her best. Elements individually mostly OK, and a big comeback after having a baby less than 6 months ago. Let's not be too tough, it was still quite competent under the circumstances.

ETA: IMO, Ashley deserved better PCS here over Miki.
