Since you guys can get the scores from the ISU plus some live feed, I will just update my post with my thoughts after each ice resurface :)

The streams are all showing skiing for me. Thank goodness for the YouTube thing, even though it's stalling a bit sometimes on my screen. Ashley Cain was good!

Goodbye olympic spot for Finland

So, is it really definite now that Finland has no hope of qualifying?!

So unfortunate. And on Kiira's birthday as well!

But, moving across the border, can I ask something?

Was that an error on the graphic, or are the Gjersem twins really as old as 19 now?

It doesn't seem that long since I saw the first of them of them (I think it was Anne Line) for the first time!!!

Great programs for Gjersem and Cain, really wonderful! The 3F+3T looked UR, though...

hahah yeah, they were born in january 94 :P they look younger than theye are, but again all asians do :p they mother is originally from the phillipines, father norwegian :)

I love this Youtube stream. THANKYOU ISU FOR CONSIDERING THOSE OF US IN MINORITY COUNTRIES FOR ONCE! Non-geoblocked and FREE! I can hardly believe my luck!

It's a bit jerky, unfortunately, but I can definitely live with it!

Well, nothing's sure before the competition is over, but there are so many other skaters who have had and will have better score. My guess is that four spots go Georgia (Gedevanishvili), Spain (Lafuente), Australia (Han) and Austria (Frank). Next countries fight for two places: Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Czech and Switzerland. Of those only Switzerland has smaller score than Finland. And there's also Philippines and Romania above Finland. So... Juulia needs a perfect FS to achieve the spot. We'll see... :sarcasm:

Ah. I always assumed their Dad was Turkish (or at least of Turkish descent), as their surname sounds Turkish and, let's face it, they look Turkish!

There was a funny moment last year (I think it was Junior Worlds) when one of them (if I am right and it was Junior Worlds, it would have been Camilla) was skating shortly after the Turkish entry. If I hadn't known better, I would have sworn that the graphics men got the names the wrong way around - the Norwegian girl looked Turkish, and the Turkish girl looked European!!! (And no, she wasn't from Istanbul - she was from Ankara)

Oops! :o:

Well, whatever their ancestry, Anne Line put in a really good performance today! Good luck to her in the FS!
