Now let's be fair, there was that brief moment mid-program when she sank to her knees and looked tragically constipated...
Sheesh! Why is so difficult to accept that different skaters have different strengths? I like both S/S and V/T--the two pairs are very different from one another, and I think that is wonderful.
And as much as I do like V/T, the scores seem inflated to me. The short program is great, but I have to agree with those who are disappointed with the LP--terrific execution of very difficult elements, but lacking in choreography. Hopefully they will tweak the choreography as the season progresses.

yes because between the two pairs
S/S are the bastions of consistency
Well, who knows? With the pressure off, maybe S/S will improve their consistency.

funny how the ones complaining aren't even on the rink while the one who was present live has a different view

which is even more annoying as they intend (!) to use it as their olympic victory symbol! sorry, but if the team ever had a glimpse of taste, they must have lost it now...

their program is JC Superstar and the cross is what it associates with

Well, I am actually talking about choreography, and we can see it with the streaming as well as those who were there... My comment about the interpretation was simply because one judge gave them 10, that should be the "perfect mark" and let me think that it was not PERFECT, even if I wasn't there

Good god just watched the program from VT. Worst program I've ever seen from a gold medal contender and that includes some of Zhang and Zhang's programs as well as Kavaguti and Smirnov's blue Danube. If Morozov's goal is to drive the final stake in the heart of figure skating's popularity, this is the perfect way to do it.

I don't think this has been answered but:
1. I don't know if Davidovich is an Israeli citizen yet, but she will be soon if she's not. She's Jewish, so it should be very easy to "make aliyah".
2. My guess is that they'll have a criterion but not a tough one. They've had two encouraging competitions together so I'm cautiously optimistic we'll see them in Sochi.
They already have the minimum TES for Worlds from SLC.

I guess most of haters would be oh so happy when they retire so the fans would get an awesome fs future with oh so many grrreat pairs with good choreo and artistry. Of course VT are disgrace to this sport so the sooner they retire, the better for fans who love this sport....I get your point.
