New figure skating/pop culture podcast

Long-time poster first-time "promoter" here --

I know all of us here are always thirsty for more skating news, analysis and media coverage -- a dear friend and I decided to take matters into our own hands and launch our own new figure skating podcast called Iced Coffee for the Olympic season. We've been watching and/or participating in the sport for 20+ years and have always wanted to do something like this.

We already had been hosting a pop culture podcast called Coffee and Bars (a play off a line from our favorite film Drop Dead Gorgeous) and our new podcast lives within that podcast. We'll be posting weekly recaps of the season's major events and exploring the parallels between skating and popular culture, as well as between the current skating season and our nostalgia for the '90s hay days of the sport.

Hello!
I'm still listening to the podcast, so I can't say what I think about it yet. BUT, what I can say already, from the first minute, is that the music in the beginning was very loud and it made it difficult to listen you guys talking.
And, since I'm listening and typing, I'm imagining a tweeter bar during live broadcast... I think it would be funny, but very distracting. But very funny. Specially in events like Skate America, when everything goes wrong. LOL
Anyway, I think I'm already having fun with this podcast. :agree:
